Matt Green was a folk, singer-songwriter and Maureik was a jazz drummer. Somehow, they met at an Open Mic at their school, Florida State University. Weeks later, Hibiscus Promiscuous was formed. Hibiscus' music is the meeting of two people, two different experiences, and one sound.
